A little bit louder’s favourite psychedelic music makers Formes release their new single Alone on the 11th March, a follow-up to last year’s brilliant debut single Absence Of The Noise. The Leeds 5 piece have come a long way in a relatively short space of time, having played some high profile gigs in 2012 and receiving plenty of support and radio play from the like of BBC6 Music, BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, Absolute Radio and Amazing Radio.
They were also included on the influential Louder Than War website’s top new bands for 2013 list. As with Absence Of The Noise the track has again been mastered by Steve Whitfield who has worked with Alt-J, Shed Seven and The Cure.
As the name suggests Alone creates a real sense of space and detachment both in lyrical content and sound, a slow groove of a rhythm section drives the track and the now trademark Formes chiming guitar builds to a final mesmerising wall of swirling noise.
The track will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3 from the 11th March.
Formes are currently working on their debut album which should be released later in the year along with some live performances.
