Public Service Broadcasting – Signal 30

PSB Signal 30

The brilliant Public Service Broadcasting have unveiled a new track and accompanied it by the first ever PSB official music video. Signal 30 is taken from the upcoming debut album Inform – Educate – Entertain which is set for release in May.

I’ve been championing PSB on the blog for some time now, but for those of you not familiar with the concept you have old propaganda clips and public service announcements cut them up and set to some great electro beats. to create a really innovative and truly unique sound.

Signal 30 sees a slight twist on the concept with American clips making an appearance to warn of the dangers of drinking and driving, remember you can’t even drink beer!! The track is also a departure from the electro sound to more of a desert rock feels which suits the American subject matter, all driving bass and power cord guitar.

The track is available for free when you pre-order the album from Cargo Records

You can also catch PSB on a monster UK tour over the next few months, find a broadcast near you here
