The Bedroom Hour announce debut album Hinterland

TBH Full PicIt’s with great pleasure and a fair amount of pride that I can say the first band I discovered when I set up this blog back in late 2012 are set to release their debut album.

The Bedroom Hour have gone from strength to strength since I first saw them on a cold and wet night in Blackburn, playing numerous gigs that will last long in the memory of those that were there, releasing the stunning EP Themes and now standing on the brink of releasing their debut album entitled Hinterland.

Being able to release an album in today’s commercialised, saturated market is nigh on impossible for an unsigned artist, which is where crowd-funding projects are invaluable. The debut album has been made possible by the support of fans through Pledge Music, providing the opportunity for people to back a band on the strength of their music rather than how much corporate schmoozing they can do, knowing their money is going directly to the artist and not a new pair of trousers for Simon Cowell.

To date the Hinterland project currently stands at 233% of its goal with 46 days to go!! An amazing achievement by a band that have clearly touched the hearts of many in provoking such a response. The Bedroom Hour  are a band that deserve your backing and in turn will reward you with emotive, melodic and beautifully crafted music. In addition to receiving the full album at a special price, pledgers receive exclusive
downloads, updates from the studio, including videos and blogs directly from the band.

Check out the PLEDGE MUSIC page sign up today and pre-order the album

The album will officially be released on the 14th July with a special launch party at the bands home from home, the Night & Day in Manchester on Saturday 12th July. For further info and more tour dates check the schedule here
